Is it anything like multi-threaded xz – in that you’re trading encoding speed for size?

Yeah I’m sure they’ve got a lot of flac over this
Yeah, but it’s their lossless.
It was already practically instantaneous compared to video encoding, but neat anyway.
Maybe that’s cause FLAC encodes audio instead.
