I’ve been eyeing on this game for a while after putting hunders of hours to Hunt: Showdown (in Windows). Have you played this game? Did you like? What was the experience like in Linux?

Fuck, didn’t know about that. Could you please elaborate? No way I’m spending money on the game if true.

I have no idea if this is true, but it certainly fits the very strange vibe of the game.

It’s like how I would imagine the most violent cops see the world.

All people are awful. Every criminal is a heavily armed, highly trained, fearless lunatic, who does not care if they live or die, as long as there’s a tiny chance they can hurt more people. Civilians are uncooperative, ungrateful, and suicidal.

Every deployment, no matter how routine, will likely lead you into an ambush by dudes with assault rifles.

Avoiding bloodshed is almost impossible and even trying is likely to get you killed.

        https://techraptor.net/gaming/news/ready-or-not-devs-respond-to-controversy-over-edgy-placeholder-assets

There were some edgy and racist jokes and asset names in the game that Kotaku took offense to. The dev responded saying they didn’t mean anything by it and removed the names/jokes.

Theres like over 300 employees so it seems like it’s just a few fascist sympathizers among employees.

Idk i had bought it a long time ago before this stuff came out and couldn’t get a refund.

It’s a fun game at least, some of the content pushes the envelope, like with the school shooting level.

        It’s probably fine
