You’re not wrong, communists do have issues with effective communication. It’s not trivial due to definitions and framing propagated by liberal institutions being designed, sometimes intentionally, to make it more difficult to communicate our ideas.

Here’s a 300 page book going through what liberalism meant to every major liberal philosopher and how they dealt with the contradictions over the last 250 years or so.
