Animal man issue 67 page 10, he was in the red looking for someone, so he wasn’t conciously controlling his body’s form when his son called for him. His connection is strong at this point, so he can shapeshift not just draw animals powers.

He was shifting back into a human, his powers are constantly tweaking out, either not working or working too strongly, don’t want to spoil too much if you’re interested

That’s animal man I believe man with the powers of animals sometimes not fully under his control. Normally just looks like a regular dude though.
