Once upon a time I was in the army and I was standing guard outside the royal palace 1000km away from home. It is common for bypasses to chitchat with the guards from time to time.

Turns out one of these bypassers was the childhood friend of my then GF. She and her family had moved there many years prior, but recognized my dialect.
