Humane’s Ai Pin and other AI wearables are difficult to recycle, threatening to worsen the world’s global e-waste problem.
How many where sold, can’t be that many, right?
Yeah, it’s probably just a few thousand. There’s probably a million things that are equally difficult to recycle being bought every day.
Every influencer under the sun bought one to make a cookie-cutter video about it.
Honestly, we need laws that require cradle-to-grave costs be included in the consumer price. Consumer recycling fees/taxes are a good start, but ultimately it needs to be the corporations providing the products that are liable for the disposal of their products.
And when I say that, I mean personal liability for C-suite execs. None of this “Our company failed and went bankrupt, but the CEOs made off like bandit” nonsense.
