All arab related communities are modded by the same person, panarab and he’s a PTB, so… (Also an asshole in general so i’d steer clear)
I think of running a saudi/arab community here on lemmy but i think it may be too tiring, especially since i’m one of the more westernized arabs (despite not living in the west lol)
Strangely not through the default lemmy UI, but tesseract supports it
Oh i agree. Though i think it’s less likely to happen here (might not be for long though, nowhere is safe :( )
Edit I was talking about data like IP addresses, and cookies. I feel it’s fine that admins can see what you do on your account since it kind of has to be public.
I mean, social media is inherently not private, everything you do is public; even votes (though some software supports private voting)
But if you’re tracking, datamining, or selling my data then there’s the problem.
We welcome them to !privacy@lemmy.dbzer0.com!
Could somebody link it to them? I got Auto-banned from reddit for “spam”.
Discord has messages, not threads. It gets messy if you try to have multiple ongoing “threads” (just descord messages) at the same time.
And communities are easier to find and join than discord servers. (You can also lurk without joining.)
No, that’s sublinks which isn’t finished yet.
That’s what i meant :) in a couple of weeks i’ll have a lot of free time so i can contribute some of it to that. And some of these i really like r/antimeme and r/oddlysatisfying.
A lot of these are cool, if i have time i could create some.
Most instances wouldn’t want a reddit bot using up their resources, so it would be best for them to have their own separate instance.
Most posts are also at 0 comments with 0 upvotes, because what’s the point of interacting with a post for no reason?
lemmit.online does that already actually, if you’re interested in it
A forum… moves to a chat app? A proprietary one too? They’re practically begging to be censored just like on reddit.
Strange, you’d think blahaj zone, despite mainly being trans would have some communities for gays and lesbians.
That’s great, blahaj is perfect for them. LGBT users are much more likely to migrate (aside from porn users lol).
PS: You misspelled the title. I was confused for a moment what binay could be, lol
On windows i use vscodium, on linux neovim.
As others say i think helix is cool, but the limited customization is kind of meh for me. I love the keybinds for it though.
I assumed since you haven’t interacted publicly for a year you were inactive, sorry.
I heard of that, but I also like to use a third party web client like photon or tesseract too. Piefed is still new so it doesn’t have the same level of support as Lemmy does. Thunder being ported is a huge step imo and a path for more apps and clients being created or ported to it.
What? what does this even mean, is there an instance dedicated for victims of fascism or something?
That seems like a huge leap. Who knows they might just be blocking an instance that only speaks a language they don’t understand.
