Yeah we don’t need Reddit to advertise Lemmy. I don’t use reddit and reddit is obviously guarded against competitors since they’re a corporation. I guess discord would be a better way to advertise Lemmy since it’s not direct competition. So I guess post Lemmy links there

The bot I made does have an AI that generates descriptions and hashtags for mastodon posts with ollama. Those are pretty good ideas that don’t seem too hard too implement

Lol nice, I’m going through serious phone addiction right now. I only knew of Dan since like mid January so Im late. I wanted to help with loops development but like nothing was happening because there’s no source code so I tried to figure out if im wasting my time so I call him out on his “source code will be released thus weekend” just to see how he would react to gauge how serious of a project loops is.

Carbon capture is problematic. If I remember the area required to reduce C02 would be the size of Georgia and the air intake would be pulling in hurricane force winds. The numbers could be off but it would be a massive project that would require to be built by probably CO2 dumping infrastructure like factories.
Personally I’d say it would be better to colonize the Pacific Ocean so algae goes in deep ocean to be a carbon sink
