Pretty much all my experiences with that instance and similar ones have been disgusting.

Pushing people who post burning flags of a country and posts about it to be fully wiped out are accepted… Criticism regarding this gets your comment remove and a ban from the community.

I don’t need that again. Where can I block this pseudo-left pro-authoritarian instance in Voyager?

With “I have different views” or “I have a reason to not like country XY and it is …”, you can achieve a conversation with someone about it. By burning flags or sending that action as emoji, you are just making sure to end the conversation as quickly as possible or to even prevent it completely.

If you take some time and ask on the streets, you will find a person who has a really good reason to hate a country and you can achieve this for all countries on the planet. And if they start to burn a flag on the streets right on front of a random person, that random person will probably think “What a f*cking idiot”.

And it’s quite ironic that you write a **3 pages long text **about the usage of a burning-flag-emoji and how it could be interpreted. If you want your view to be interpreted “correctly”, then why posting 1 single burning flag in the first place instead of writing what you actually want to say??? It’s like showing someone the middle finger and afterwards, I talk an hour with that person and explain them the long story that their dad and I once had a conflict.

One of my first moments of awakening that led me to becoming a leftist was seeing a protestor burn an American flag in response to the American intervention in Afghanistan in 2001. It aroused feelings in me that my stupid child brain had trouble putting into words. So at least in my case, a burning flag had a positive outcome, and I’ll always thank that anonymous person who I’ll never know. My greatest love of my nation’s flag is its flammability.

Palestinians are being vaporized by the thousands, and this is of course just one instance of the many thousands of atrocities facilitated by the US since WW2, but being mad about that is total loser shit. I’m simply above it all and only speak in this detached vague style because actually being concrete in your views is extremely uncool. I totally get ya dawg hell yeah.

Putin or Russia? That’s quite a difference. And how many of them contain a burning flag or a burning Putin? Feel free to look it up…

Death to America, Death to Israel. Liberation to trans people. From the river to the sea. China is socialist. Stalin shouldn’t have stopped in Berlin. Uncritical support for the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea in its ongoing resistance against the genocidal American empire.

        Nice one, troll…

Is that the response of the prompt “Hey ChatGPT (or probably Deepseek, sorry), I have some views. Please make them look as radical as possible”?

        Uncritical support for North Korea

        lol, that says something…

I genuinely believe in all the things I just said

Why is it so much easier to assume I’m joking than to confront the idea there are separate worldviews than yours?

You know what, “comerade”… Feel free to continue uncritically supporting North Korea (whatever than means) and good luck with your “death to XY” attitude… How can you expect anyone to take that serious?

there are separate worldviews than yours

Yes, and between black and white, there is a huge gray area. You should try it out.

What does it say? Be specific for once, instead of hiding behind smug insinuation like liberals always do. Tell me what it says.

You’re talking about Hexbear being pro-Palestinian and anti-Zionist as though they are anti-semetic and wish extermination on Jewish people. No, that’s not how Hexbear is, Hexbear is neither genocidal nor anti-semetic.

You might be talking about something else, but burning a flag of say, the US, does not mean Hexbear wants to slaughter everyone in the US. It means Hexbear stands against the US State and its ruling class, same with Israel and its genocidal ruling class.

Anti-Zionism, anti-fascism, and being pro-Palestine are all 3 Leftist stances.

Anyway, to block a community, you can do it in your settings. You will still see comments from users, just not comms.

Well, I can totally get what you’re talking about, but instance blocking on lemmy only blocks communities and posts from a specific instance.
I’d recommend you check out an instance which defederates from hex. Like lemmy.ca, sh.itjust.works and sopuli.xyz.

Settings -> Filters & Blocks -> Scroll to the bottom to find “Blocked Instances”.

You’ll still see their comments though on other instances.
